A $15K a month fix means nothing to someone bleeding $50K in another area.
I pitched one of my opportunities to @jliemandt.
This was a solution that could save retina specialists lots of money from lost injections.
His biggest piece of feedback was to make sure that this was "The Problem."
If these retina specialists have a problem in their practice costing them $50K a month, that is their main focus.
Finding out if that is truly the biggest problem comes with discovery.

Here's Rob Dial explaining it himself 👇 Worth a few minutes if you need a little push to show up fully today. @RobDial_

Still thinking about something @RobDial_ said years ago: “The way you do one thing is the way you do everything.” Sounds simple. It isn’t. It’s a mirror for how you show up.
Sigo pensando en algo que dijo Rob Dial hace años: “La forma en que haces una cosa es la forma en que haces todo.” Suena simple. No lo es. Es un espejo de cómo te presentas.

Sometimes we become so focused on what is ahead that we forget to look back and remember everything God has already brought us through.
If He was faithful then, He will be faithful again.
Are there any retina specialists, oncologists, or rheumatologists here? A 14-year-old Alpha student is researching how practices are affected when they purchase costly medications upfront and face reimbursement delays or denials. If you’re willing to speak with him, please see post
I just can’t with healthcare sometimes. ☹️ Someone paying over $1,000 a month for health insurance was quoted $50, even with a coupon, for a 90-day supply of ONE blood pressure medication.
We checked @costplusdrugs Drugs, and she could get all her medications for just over $60.

Baby steps outside my comfort zone 😃 There is something special about doing hard things with our children. Each time we feel afraid and still try, we give our brains new evidence: I can do hard things. A 1% better moment. ❤️
A repeated thought can begin to feel like a fact. Sometimes change begins by pausing and asking: Is this thought actually true?

“I hate school.”
That’s something I used to say all the time.
Before @AlphaSchool, school wasn’t somewhere I wanted to be. I was constantly going from friend group to friend group trying to find where I fit in, while also dealing with being bullied.
There were nights where I would literally cry myself to sleep knowing I had to go back the next day.
Eventually, I decided I had enough.
That’s where Alpha came in.
I came to Alpha in 7th grade, and for the first time, school started becoming somewhere I actually wanted to go.
It wasn’t just about changing how I learned academically. I was in an environment where I could work at my own pace, focus on my gaps, build real-life skills, try new things, freely express my thoughts, and actually be known as a person instead of feeling like I was trying to fit myself into a place I didn’t belong.
Now I’m starting high school here, and it’s kinda crazy looking back at how much changed.
The girl who used to dread going to school is now voluntarily making an X account to document her school experience
But I think my favorite part is this:
What once made me cry myself to sleep at night is now part of what motivates me to work harder.
I know what it feels like to hate where you are.
Now I know what it feels like to love where you’re going.
And I don’t take that for granted.
So I’m curious—what’s one thing you wish you could change about your school experience?

I was honestly impressed by their creativity and the quality of the final projects. Here is one of them. Great job, @AC_923_ 👏👏
Last month, my daughter attended an Alpha High School immersion in Austin. In only four afternoons, the students created AI-generated movie trailers, music videos, and products, most for the first time. I was so impressed by their final projects.
This is great question for parents.
Here is my answer 👇
I wish we'd been taught “must-have” life skills in school when I was growing up—especially public speaking and financial literacy. I wish I could have learned at my own pace and had a customized learning plan too.
what if kids don’t actually hate school… they just hate the way they’re expected to learn?
most kids hear “school starts tomorrow” and immediately aren’t excited
but i’ve been at @AlphaSchool since 7th grade, and i actually WANT to go to school.
imagine no uniforms, no traditional teachers, and 1-on-1 coaching.
no asking a teacher to slow down because you’re lost while everyone else is ready to move on.
no sitting at a desk for hours just to go home and realize you have to teach yourself the lesson anyway.
at Alpha, i’ve learned how to learn MY way—when i’m most productive, what actually helps me understand something, and when i need to ask for help.
instead of everyone being expected to learn the exact same way, you figure out what works for you.
and after being here since 7th grade, i genuinely think school can be something you’re excited to go to.
so students: if you could change ONE thing about school, what would it be?
and parents: what’s one thing you wish was different about school when you were growing up?
Learning to fail in high school.
