38 years ago today, on 12 Sep 1988, Hurricane Gilbert hit #Jamaica with sustained winds of 125 mph as its 15 mile-wide eye moved from east to west across the length of the island leaving a swathe of destruction. It produced a 19 ft storm surge and brought up to 32 inches of rain, causing flash flooding. 49 people died and US$700 million in damage was sustained. More than 100,000 houses were destroyed or damaged and the country's banana crop was wiped out. Hundreds of miles of roads and highways were heavily damaged and the electricity supply was disrupted. The country struggled to regain normalcy, but we prevailed and Jamaica was mostly back on track within months. #Caribbean

Imitation may be a sincere form of flattery, but it certainly isn’t a full business plan.
I’ve been seeing more clearly copy-cat businesses in Kingston. Problem is, you can’t copy the ‘WHY’ and that is the secret sauce.
Even with SOPs in hand, it won’t be the same. #FizzleOut
Dear well-informed Jamaica,
Was there a new development in our electronic prescription policies?
Sincerely,

For your own sake please: for the rest of 2026 put serious focus on your finances so you can walk away from jobs, people and circumstances that you do not like.
There is way too much suffering tied to financial dependence.

I cannot understand how the rationing and disappearance of Pickapeppa Sauce hasn’t brought about riots?!
Why are we adjusting quietly to this travesty?!
