Nationwide tonight, attempted protests by the drunk far right thugs, vandals, looters and arsonists have been met by 5x, 10x or even 20x their numbers of Anti-Racists, Anti-Fascists, and other ordinary, sober people. Real people, who represent real Britain. No drama.

The new pharmacy service announced by NHS England in the “Recovering access to primary care” delivery plan is going to cost £640m, and they anticipate it will offer 10m appointments. Cost per appt is therefore £64.50. For simple issues such as wart treatments, UTIs, BP checks.

If a typical GP practice were to be offered the same, for an average 5 appointments per patient per year, we would receive £320 per patient per year, or roughly double the funding we do now. england.nhs.uk/publication/d…

Hi @sewateruk Apparently you’re going to be turning off the water to my surgery on Tuesday afternoon for up to 4 hours. Nobody who can actually help us on customer services but how do you expect me to provide any care for my patients for the time the water is off?

For example, what do you want me to do with the patients who are booked in for leg ulcer dressings who need their legs washed? How are clinicians going to wash their hands in between patients and prevent infections? The dentist next door will have similar issues

It's everyone's responsibility to address race and racism in their institution, it is not the responsibility of people of colour #race #racism #equity #socialjustice

“Pretending we haven’t made mistakes, carrying on as if everyone can’t see that we have made them and hoping that things will magically come right is not serious politics” Yup. She should tell the Attorney General who supported law-breaking by political allies and lied about it.
