I spent the morning at the @cpkcareercenter in the Early Childhood Education class! Thank you Mrs. Benham for inviting me to spend time with your students this morning⦠I absolutely loved learning about your program and meeting some future @cpschoolsva teachers!
I reiterated over and over again the respect I have for teachers and how it is the hardest but most important work. I love how this program gives the students so much exposure to a classroom environment while simultaneously earning college credits!
I was so surprised and excited to see one of my own former 4th graders in the class who is pursuing education as a career. I canβt wait to see what the future holds for these students and this program! #InspireCPS

This morning the International Baccalaureate Class of 2023 students had their Diploma and Certificate Awarding Ceremony at Oscar Smith High School. One of my favorite things to do is celebrate the accomplishments of our students. Go Tigers! π―
