Anojan Sivarasa, a 24-year-old Sri Lankan Hindu migrant worker, has been sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia for a “blasphemous” Facebook comment.
His crime? Defending his Hindu faith from insults.
Under Islamic law, leaving or criticizing Islam is a capital crime. Imagine this ideology of darkness taking over the world…
Saving this young man from state-sponsored murder is a duty for humanity.
Trending this hashtag globally can pressure the Saudi government.
Unite with the humanity we have left—make it trend worldwide.

Stand Together to Save a Young Sri Lankan Tamil Life
A 24 year old Sri Lankan Tamil Hindu engineer, Anojan Sivarasa, has been sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia over an online comment. Provoked by insults against his faith, he posted an impulsive reply, realized his mistake, deleted it immediately, and issued a public apology.
However the deleted comment was translated and reported to his employer in Saudi Arabia. News reports indicate that following an initial sentence, the death penalty was demanded. He has reportedly faced assaults in prison, and all contact with his family was cut off on Sep 28.
Given that the young man promptly recognized his lapse and offered an unconditional public apology, the death sentence must be revoked immediately. We urge the Government of India, Government of Sri Lanka, and the international community to intervene urgently on humanitarian grounds and appeal for clemency. Capital punishment in this case is completely unjustifiable, and conscience-driven citizens across the world must unite and rise their voices to demand the cancellation of this death penalty.
The final deadline to appeal is October 17, 2026. Sentencing a young man to death despite an immediate retraction and apology is disproportionate and cruel. Raise your voice before time runs out.

Ketaki Chitale was arrested in 2022 for sharing a poem allegedly criticizing Sharad Pawar.
She spent over 40 days in jail & had 22 FIRs filed against her.
Remember her?
Deeply concerned by reports that Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka remain in custody, with no warrant shown and no access to lawyers or contact with their families. Abhijeet’s grandmother has passed away, yet he has reportedly not even been allowed a call home.
This is unacceptable. We demand their immediate release without further delay. Abhijeet must be allowed to be with his family at this time of grief.

Saudi Arabia Sentenced a Sri Lankan Worker to Death Under Islam for a Facebook Comment. His Mother Is Begging for His Life.
Anojan Sivarasa, 24, from Kalmunai in eastern Sri Lanka, was working in Saudi Arabia. He was arrested in July after a Facebook argument.
A user posted a remark about a Hindu deity.
Sivarasa answered in Tamil with a comment about Prophet Muhammad. He deleted it and posted an apology. Screenshots still went to his employer, then to Saudi authorities.
The Al-Ahsa Criminal Court first gave him five years and a fine of 3 million riyals, about $800,000, under the cybercrime law.
The appellate court sentenced him to death for insulting Islam and the Prophet.
His mother told officials: “Please pardon my son and return him to me alive; or we all will have to die.”

Have the guts to mention Saudi Arabia to prohibit them from executing a Hindu migrate.
The death penalty does little to deter crime or deliver justice for victims.
It has no place in the 21st century and should be abolished.
