The reason why MTN fiber package looks cheaper to you is because they have been exploiting us for a long time. In the US same Unlimited package is $35 and they even give you a free router, and if you even have another line on the same network, you can get it for $20 a month instead of $35. All this while, it will take that person in Ghana a month or more to be able to get that fiber package funds while it will take the person in the US one or two hours to get that same. This is because any country where the leaders have the mindset of development knows that the people need to have access to data to help improve economically and everything, since data is almost needed in everything.

The Volta North Regional Police Command has arrested 26-year-old Robert Akator in connection with the alleged murder of a two-year-old boy in Wli-Afegame, a suburb of Hohoe.Police arrested the suspect on 15 October 2026 after receiving intelligence. The child’s body has been taken to the morgue for preservation and autopsy. Akator remains in police custody while assisting with the investigation and is expected to be charged and brought before a court.

The mother of the late Central University law student, Ivan Apprey Baidoo, who died in a motorbike crash involving a police officer, broke down in tears in court as proceedings in the case against General Corporal Robert Katey Koranteng continued.
The court ordered that witnesses be presented and adjourned the case to 29th October, 2026.
The officer in question has been charged with murder over the young man’s death, with prosecutors alleging that he kicked the motorcycle during a pursuit on the Tema Motorway, causing it to crash.
