When they make the Pevensie kids Irish and set the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe during the troubles in the 90s and the end sequence where they rediscover the wardrobe and return to the real world as children is set to Dreams by the cranberries #yeah
There are serious logistical flaws.
For example, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe occurs during WWII in the 1940s. Peter, Susan, Ed, and Lucy Pevensie flee London for the country because London is being bombed by Nazis.
This is a huge plot point and shapes how the characters interact for the rest of the story.
It is impossible for Digory to have lived in the 1950s, because he built the wardrobe which Lucy climbed into. It’s made out of Narnian wood, which is why it becomes a portal between two worlds. Digory grows up to be the eccentric professor who the Pevensie children take shelter with during WWII.
The era change completely upends the entire series. I don’t understand how anyone familiar with the source material could make this kind of mistake.

if you asked a production company in 2026 to make a 22 episodes per season, 40 minute show starting an ensemble cast of women with season-long overarching mystery plots they'd take you out back and shoot you in the head
