Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. With that in mind, I wanted to remind you of this video produced by Norwich City; it remains one of the most profound things I've ever seen produced on the subject.

In December, Arion Carter declared for the NFL Draft and signed with an agent. The agent bought him a plane ticket to a pre-draft training facility. It cost $427.48. He hurt his foot during the process, pulled out of the draft, and went back to Tennessee for his senior year. Then he paid the agent back for the flight out of his own pocket. The NCAA suspended him anyway. Three games at first. Tennessee appealed and got it to two. More public backlash got it down to one. He sat out the opener, a 56-9 win over Furman. Tennessee elected him a game captain for it anyway and walked out to midfield with him standing there in street clothes. He's eligible again Saturday at Georgia Tech. And he's decided what to do about the $427. For every tackle he makes this season, Carter is donating $427. Every sack is $500. Every interception or forced fumble is $1,000. A defensive touchdown is $5,000. He led the SEC in tackles per game last year and finished with 76 despite missing time hurt. Match that and it's roughly $32,500 out of his own pocket. The money goes to Nashville-area charities, including Sisters Network Nashville, which exists to help cancer patients pay medical bills. Here's why. In February, Carter's girlfriend Mariah Bryant was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She's an ICU nurse in Nashville. She spends her working life keeping people alive. Carter is also helping cover her treatment. "Really, it started with the whole incident behind Mariah having cancer and we're figuring it out," he told Volquest. "Especially with young females that go through harsh things like this, but more importantly, people in general." He's mentioned October specifically. Breast Cancer Awareness Month. He wants how he plays that month to mean something. So the number everybody is laughing about as a shot at the NCAA is not really about the NCAA at all. He needed a number. They handed him one.

The long trip home has begun. Very happy that I got to see fellow players who dedicated many hours into @TMesports get the chance to represent prestigious organisations, competing for a large prize pool and making a living from competing. Shoutout to all the @EWC_EN people who made the event not only possible, but also seamless for us players. The transport, catering, accommodation, production, practice rooms, communication among other things, was all top notch, really appreciated. To all the new fans of @Trackmania, welcome to the video game

The book cover I did for the Dungeons and Dragons x World of Warcraft crossover was revealed! I think it took longer than any other illustration I've ever worked on before. Thank you to Blizzard and WotC for the opportunity!

Hello again. We’re currently in Clemson, South Carolina. I’ve decided to come back here to document the final part of our road trip. The main reason I deactivated my account two weeks ago was that things became increasingly toxic. For some people, it’s unfortunately unfathomable that a good story can exist without some kind of hidden agenda behind it. There was even a Reddit group going through my entire account trying to find anything they could use to reveal my identity. I know this was only a small percentage of people, but after a while it became exhausting. During the last two weeks, I received so many kind messages on Instagram, and they really made me realize how many people genuinely enjoyed following the trip. Some people even told me that their grandparents regularly ask them, “What are the Germans up to today?” I think that’s really cool. I decided to continue because I realized that the overwhelming majority of people loved following along. A small group of very loud people shouldn’t be able to ruin something that brought so many others joy. I also want to clear something up, as people who follow me on Instagram already know. I’ve been to the United States before. This is not my first visit, and I’ve never claimed that it was. The last time I was here was in January 2022, when I visited New York and Philadelphia. A lot of people shared my Raising Cane’s post from November 2025 to make it look like I was secretly American. That post wasn’t from the United States, it was from my trip to Saudi Arabia. This is my first time back in the U.S. in more than four years, and apart from Boston, I’d never visited any of the places we’ve been to on this trip before. That’s probably why many people assumed it was our first time in America, because for all of these places, it actually was. And let me tell you, Ohio and Alabama are very different from New York City or Los Angeles. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for reading.
