The @NFLPA has put out a statement on @JalenHurts: “The NFLPA is not aware of any NFL investigation into the medical care provided to Jalen Hurts. In fact, the league previously informed the union that it did not plan to review the care he received. Before conclusions are drawn about how this situation was handled, there must be a full investigation into what occurred. Determining the facts is essential to ensuring players receive the highest level of care and protection going forward.”

Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on.
“Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday,” the NFL said. “We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There’s been no disruption or impact at league sites.”

Netflix is turning the viral Daejon Love scam into a new Untold documentary titled "Wide Deceiver." Love is accused of posing as a San Francisco 49ers player to scam more than two dozen women out of $1.3 million through fake romantic relationships and fraudulent investments.
The documentary will tell the story through firsthand accounts from those affected by the alleged scheme.

Bill Withers was unique in an era filled with unique artists. A Folk/R&B/Funk hybrid, Bill didn’t fit in anyone’s bag. Withers told working class stories about family, hard times, questionable choices. He did not sing The Blues. He just couldn’t avoid it. Gospel haunts his work.
