For everyone checking comments for the right answer. The task is to copy a rotated icon true to its internal worldline rather than injecting subjective orientation. You also have to overcome the intuition that a drawing of water is "wet". Men lose this ability as they age.

What about this makes wildlife conservation difficult? I assume we are talking outside zoos.

"lack of objective measures of probability mean that subjective probability judgments cannot plausibly be taken as reasonable measures in quantification of risk" Even the RAND report they reference respects superforecasting, but dismisses its usefulness for p(doom).

Careful. DO NOT be the society that LLM's report that a society would be if it were like an LLM thinks human society is.

>minor things will happen >some people will think things are ok >capitalism will exist "This exact state was predicted, decades ago!" Uh... What.

It should worry you that this exact state of the discourse was predicted a decade ago as part of the doom scenario.

Your tweet summoned ugly graffiti to my whiteboard, so before I erase it, I'll post it here where it belongs.

One philosopher argued that divine law is written on the human heart. Not endorsing the idea, but it is a pretty straightforward answer to your question.

I want to defend Searle, because the responses to his argument ARE quite interesting. But dude couldn't help himself... /..then you connect the Chinese computer to robot limbs and eyes, but YOU DON'T TELL THE PERSON.../ 😳 So. I must reluctantly abandon him to your scorn. :(

2/n: "veil of ignorance" is a Trojan horse smuggling the paradox of fiction into materialist philosophy. Its "serious" status licenses narrative-compliant suspension of disbelief and fictional emotions. "Imagine yourself as a philosophical colony of bacteria." Ugh.

Constructive criticism 1/n: "insect death" and "insects" are not the same thing. Bentham would likely sum across lifespans, multiply by entities, and conclude insect lives matter more *because they net positive*.
