Been a while! I'm updating my site, but in the meantime, here are a few things I have been up to over the last several years... I'd love to get in touch!

Next up, seeking opportunities to put 20+ years of UX, 10+ years of people management, recent biz school experience, and recent consulting experience to work. This could be fractional leadership opportunities, special projects, UX projects... let's have a conversation!

OK design hive mind... I have a bunch of miro content that needs to somehow become a google slide deck. I know I can export to images, drop those in the deck. What else is there? Any kind of real import/export between these platforms?

My google search history today is full of queries into how to do things in Miro that all lead to Miro Community posts of people saying "I wish we could do this" but nothing being implememted

I had to do a research project on how Tesla transitioned from a company that outsourced production to full vertical integration. My biggest takeaways were that 1) it was pretty remarkable that they pulled it off and 2) Elon Musk is terrible at cash mgmt xitter.cf/dpan/status/1593414166…
Assuming ~2,800 employees don’t hit the button (mixed reports) Assuming high-paid, lots of long-tenure, so average... $250K base? Awarding the announced 3 month’s severance… That’s $175,000,000 in severance, presumably due immediately

yeah what IS happening
I can't really explain it but staying on this platform as new management drives it into the ground is my way of saying "$%#*& you, dude, I was here first" despite *knowing* it's meaningless.
Leave Twitter just because it’s lacking resources to support its infrastructure? Babe, I’m a parent in a pandemic.

Here’s the text of the email Musk sent to Twitter staff overnight. Those who don’t commit to being “extremely hardcore” by 5pm ET today must leave the company. ‼️ Story: cnn.com/2022/11/16/tech/elon…

This map, at this zoom level, is completely inscrutable. "It's called information architecture, honey, look it up."

Big Dear Leader Energy
NEW: Employees who have criticized Elon Musk in Twitter’s Slack channels were fired overnight over email. “We regret to inform you that your employment is terminated immediately,” they’re being told over email. “Your recent behavior has violated company policy.”
