A ballgirl was hit in the face by a missed returned serve. She wanted to stay on court but was finally replaced. She stayed courtside with a big bag of ice. At the next changeover Sousa gift her something when she was leaving.

I don’t believe the tournament is testing anyone. These are ill, symptomatic, players testing themselves. There are almost no distancing measures at #Wimbledon this year, incidentally, and almost no one is masked. It’s business as usual, so these new Covid variants might feast. – at Wandsworth, London

2022 runner up Matteo Berrettini, 9-0 on grass in 2022, withdraws from Wimbledon with Covid. Joining Cilic, who withdrew for the same reason. Two top 8 favorites for the title in my opinion.
