The freedom street concert has demonstrated something I have long believed: that the people of Jamaica are not experiencing hardship to the degree claimed by @MarkJGolding and the @JamaicaPNP and its followers.
I personally feel like as women we sometimes feel a way about something said, not because it was a lie but because of how it was said. 🫠
I read comments on posts this morning that made me cringe. People having issues with people wanting to know more about their legacy, and where they came from. That is rather strange. My Mother is older than Jamaica, we cannot ONLY come from Jamaica 🙄
Also it’s definitely ok. OK to speak about the different things in your life that sets you apart from others. Ok to recognize that you are different, Ok to want answers, and OK TO FIND ANSWERS ❤️
