🚨 NEWS: The head of the British Army has warned that the British public must prepare to make sacrifices to strengthen national defence as the threat of war increases.
General Sir Roly Walker told 700 soldiers at Catterick Garrison that political leaders would soon need to have a frank conversation with the public about the dangers facing Britain and the sacrifices required to prioritise national security.
His warning comes as new Ipsos polling reveals that 48% of Britons would refuse to take up arms for Britain under any circumstances, while 51% support increased defence spending.

Zelensky needs to remain in power, else his corruption be investigated and he finds himself facing criminal charges.
Instead, he'd rather send wave after wave of Ukrainian men to their deaths over a part of Europe, the Donbass, whose people are Russian ethnically, culturally and historically.
The Donbass is where Ukrainian resistance to the Nazis was located during WWII, while in western Ukraine they were met with open arms as liberators.
The people of the Donbass today want no part of the Ukraine of Bandera and Nazi that was unleashed by Maidan in 2014. The Donbass is Russian and Zelensky is a failed leader whose overthrow is long overdue.
As for Europe, its current leadership is the enemy of the future and a prisoner of the past. Moscow is not the enemy of the working class across the UK and never has been. Brussels is and will continue to be as long as false consciousness prevails.
The war will cost 155 billion euros next year. And we need at least 70 billion euros more from you – for defense, for weapons, and for our resilience. This is a realistic amount. And I ask you to find this support. It will help us hold Russia back.

Pig farming doesn’t just exploit pigs.
The industry also relies on horses.
Pregnant mares are kept on ‘blood farms’ and repeatedly made pregnant so their blood can be harvested for PMSG - a hormone used by the pig industry to manipulate mother pigs’ reproductive cycles and increase litter sizes.
It’s another example of how animal agriculture treats animals as production units - extracting whatever it can from their bodies to produce more animals, more ‘meat’ and more profit.
And while these practices are horrific, the problem isn’t simply that animals are being treated badly.
The problem is that we’re treating animals as commodities at all.
There is no ‘ethical’ way to exploit animals for profit.
Animals are not products. They are individuals who deserve to live for themselves.
You choose what you pay for every day.
