Beginning fall 2025, @CitiBikeNYC service will expand further into outer boroughs with 250 new stations and 2,900 new bikes.
Thanks to this investment from @lyft, 64% of NYC residents will live within a 5-minute walk from a Citi Bike station.
ALT Citi Bike is Expanding. Beginning fall 2025, new citi bike stations will be installed in Brooklyn (Brownsville, East New York, Kensington, Bay Ridge), The Bronx (Norwood, Riverdale), and Queens (west of Flushing Meadows Corona Park). In addition more docks will be added to stations in some of the busiest areas including midtown and downtown Manhattan, Harlem and East Harlem, Downtown Brooklyn. Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Park Slope. This expansion will add nine square miles to the citi bike service area, over 250 new stations, 2900 new bikes, and will be fully funded by lyft.
