Manually driving yourself somewhere in a car is only a hundred years old. It could just become a non-lindy thing that fades away in the next decade. A tiny blip in history
I like Waymo, but the moment that this argument switches, as it inevitably will, from “we have a cool new technology that works and is available everywhere and saves lives” to “you must now be banned from driving your own car,” I will become a foe.

when i'm asking an LLM for suggestions on creative work, I always ask for a TON of possibilities. like: "give me 25 very different rewordings of this sentence", not "reword this sentence" even if none of the options are great, often there are good parts that can be combined

Been eating a pack of sardines a day for a week now. I get more things done and just feel much better overall. I feel like myself again. Happier, more mindful. Probably had a BIG Omega 3 and/or Vit D deficiency. Nothing much else really changed in the meantime either.

It's that time of the year when NPM installs dip. Best time to ship is when no one else is.

You don’t have to customize Obsidian, I haven’t customized mine at all. No settings and no plugins. I have the following folder structure and it has been working for me for years.

I tried a new style of coding yesterday. Instead of diving into the code, I wrote a product spec in Markdown and used Cursor to update the code until it matched the spec. The spec describes - guidelines - pages - components Is this the future of software engineering?
