Dot Network Whitepaper is published.
The network is scheduled to go live on @arc soon.
Dot Network is our vision for an identity and infrastructure layer built on Arc. Instead of interacting with disconnected wallets, websites and social platforms, we believe blockchain ecosystems should feel like living networks where people, projects, businesses and communities all have a permanent place.
The whitepaper introduces the ideas behind the ARKNET Engine, programmable Nodes, identity, payments, discovery, socials and how we see the network evolving over time.
The protocol will continue to grow alongside the Arc ecosystem, and we're excited to build it in the open.

Claim nodes.
Anchor your project or your identity to the node.
Trade the anchor on the curve.
Trade the node on the marketplace.
Supports anchor for all social platforms including reddit, farcaster and even adhoc projects and sites.

Arc Mainnet is live.
Arc launches as the Economic OS for the internet: an open platform for global markets, real-time value movement, tokenized assets, and agentic economic activity.
Arc is more than a blockchain.
It launches as a full-stack financial platform with assets, applications, interoperability, developer infrastructure, and Circle platform services live from day one.
Arc delivers USDC as native gas, deterministic sub-second finality, EVM compatibility, and institutional validators.
It integrates with Arc Studio, App Kits, Arc Portal, Circle Agent Stack, CCTP, Gateway, CPN, and StableFX.
A complete economic platform at genesis.
Arc launches with infrastructure for:
→ Agentic economic workflows
→ Lending and borrowing
→ Trading and liquidity
→ Onchain FX
→ Payments and settlement
→ Tokenized assets
→ Exchanges, wallets, custody, compliance, data, and developer tooling
190+ institutional and ecosystem builders are building across Arc.

Onchain payments should support more than a simple token transfer.
We’re open sourcing an e-commerce sample app on Arc using the Commerce Payments Protocol from @coinbase and @Shopify.
Shoppers can pay in USDC or EURC with one signature and no gas. Merchants can authorize, capture, void, reclaim, and refund payments.

builders on @Arc - keep shipping, keep failing forward. and you never have to do it alone, my DMs are open.
Protocol built on @arc
The ARKNET Engine transforms one million permanent on-chain locations into a programmable network where every Node contributes to the wider ecosystem.
Arc was built for developers exploring what’s possible when stablecoins, wallets, and programmable payments come together.
@OpenVPP is using Arc Testnet to explore real-time energy settlement across EVs, utilities, and grid-connected devices, including:
→ Stablecoin settlement
→ Gas-sponsored wallets
→ Machine-to-machine payments
→ Nanopayments for grid data access
As a proof of concept, OpenVPP has built a grid-balancing agent that pays $0.0001 in USDC every 4 seconds to access grid frequency and pricing data, evaluate a battery dispatch decision, and track the resulting data cost.

We've just recently published our short-term roadmap for agentic features and standards we are building, including expanding to enable agents as sellers of work, including agent identity, reputation, validation and trusted discovery.

Technical Office Hours is back on Thursday, August 20, 8 AM ET.
@TxnSheng is hosting this one: what makes Arc different from the EVM chains you already know, and what stays exactly the same.

The agentic economy is starting to take shape.
Circle’s new vision paper explores an open economy where agents can provide labor, be discovered and ranked on merit, and get paid for the work they perform.
A new internet primitive is emerging: software that can do work and earn when that work is used.
