Aight I don't have a mastodon and probably won't for a while. If for some reason this place goes up; ya'll who care probably have my e-mail. Hope I have yours.
watching everyone post a bevy of links to various alt services and I'm sitting here thinking... maybe this is a good time to disconnect.
Think I'll try a new window manager thing on the new work computer. i3 maybe? I want to plug in monitors and have sets of terminals/windows reopen into premade layouts. I never quite get this to work perfectly.
For some reason I thought /. was a lot more than 2-3 years older than LJ. I also made a /. account super late and I have no idea why. was on the site since maybe 1998 at the latest? So much cool shit.

Arrive at the doctor's office, hand them a business card that says "I'm not paying you to invalidate my suffering" in American Psycho standard font and layout.
is there a service (or name of a type of service?) for all of the stuff I have that's worth money but not worth the time it takes to properly sell?

Didn't get nearly as hot here as inland and been pretty miserable. This house is 100 years old and def not built for this weather.
wonder if throwing money at client authors would do anything worth while. Or if this is something I just need to focus on/direct hire for.
Obsessing about unit test frameworks. Want a portable single-header one for tarball tests but a more advanced one (Cmocka) would be great sometimes but don't want the extra dep for users. Would it be weird to have two? Or an external extra suite?
