This #ConvenienceStoreWeek, we celebrate the hardworking owners, operators and employees across Ontario.
This year marks two years since we expanded beer, wine and other beverages to convenience stores, giving Ontario customers more choice and convenience. Remember to buy Ontario, support local and enjoy responsibly.

Canadians can’t afford higher taxes at the pumps right now.
The federal suspension of excise fuel taxes ends in a month. This morning, I wrote to Prime Minister Carney to urge him to extend this relief to at least January 1. Or better yet, match Ontario’s ambition and cut it for good.

Ford Fest in Scarborough was an incredible evening spent with friends, families and supporters from across Ontario! Thank you to everyone who came and helped make it such a success.
Stopped by Brynn’s Fresh Market today—love their fresh menu and their commitment to inclusive staffing. Highly recommend the burger and potato salad!
Snagged a frozen lasagna for dinner tonight, too. ✨
I’d love to bring one to Marmora and Lake!

I stood in the House today to highlight how our government is protecting rural Ontario.
From investing in programs like the Rural Ontario Development Program to supporting business retention and expansion efforts, and engaging local leaders through initiatives like rural and Teeny Tiny Summits. We’re taking a cross-government approach to support rural communities across Ontario — because when rural Ontario succeeds, all of Ontario succeeds.

Snowmobilers, we heard you.
Ontario is stepping up with $4.9M to keep 4,500 km of Ontario snowmobile trails open this season.
This funding will protect tourism and keep communities connected.

How much does rural Ontario matter to the Ontario Liberals?
They didn’t even show up to committee to ask about Rural Affairs.
Not one member.

Rural Ontario has arrived in the big city! 🐄
Come explore the sights, sounds and (let’s be honest) smells of the country at the 103rd Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Exhibition Place in Toronto.🏅
On now until Nov. 16!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: A tariff on Canada is a tax on American families.

With the Blue Jays heading to the World Series against the LA Dodgers, @CAgovernor Newsom and I have a friendly wager going. Win or lose, we’re thrilled to celebrate great baseball, good neighbours and a friendship between Ontario and California!

I'm glad to hear of the resignation of the trustee with Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board who refused to repay his share on a trip to Italy that ended up costing taxpayers nearly $190,000. It shouldn't have taken legislation to get to this point, and he still owes thousands of taxpayer dollars.
