async / await is such a cool feature of Swift!

You always ask me, why I use #swift for backends. Answer: Because it’s soooo cheap to run, having low memory footprint.
Running under 30 MB of RAM it fits a lot of these in just a 1 AWS instance. I would have to pay 10x more for Java / Spring. And it’s type safe.

One thing I love about working on @medium is that it’s not ad-driven. You succeed by delivering a product that people think is worth paying for. If you don’t, they’ll stop paying. Click bait and dark patterns are bad for your business. Capturing all the user’s time is not a goal.
