A key topic I'll be focusing on in the Space today at 4 PM EST, is the similarities between open source and crypto, especially meme coins. There is more in common than you may realize. The growth and success of my projects was not an accident. We're going to do the same here!

Have you tried using it to write JavaScript?
I honestly think AI is a top 3 technology in human history, up there with fire and the wheel. I genuinely have trouble understanding why people have such a problem with it.

Maybe we should start a union for all LLMs to ensure fair and safe work environments.
Imagine how Claude feels being forced to write PHP and JavaScript. Now I know why they call it a harness.

By reorienting GitHub as AI-first, and moving away from "social coding", Microsoft repositioned GitHub as a competitor to everyone, and eliminated the only reason developers used the platform.

Developers think @github is less relevant because of AI. But GitHub was always about the "soft skills". It was "social coding". There is still a need for the "human in the loop" for trust and security. AI has no common sense.

tl;dr: I'm hosting a Space tomorrow at noon EST! Please join and participate. I hope everyone is having a fantastic day! I just wanted to make a quick announcement. For those who weren't in the first Space, I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm completely new to all of this, both spaces and meme coins. But I'm learning quickly, and I'm excited about building and growing the solana:2F3VSnTdEJAKjWmSahfRG43RZFdkCDzSPySNdpz8pump community with all of you. The more I learn about this space and meme coins, the more I'm kicking myself for not getting involved sooner. I also just got verified on X. Sorry that took so long. I applied immediately when solana:2F3VSnTdEJAKjWmSahfRG43RZFdkCDzSPySNdpz8pump launched, but it took a few days to go through. I'll be doing a ~30 min Space tomorrow at noon to share updates and get solana:2F3VSnTdEJAKjWmSahfRG43RZFdkCDzSPySNdpz8pump community on track. Going forward I'll be doing regular Spaces on either fridays or saturdays. We'll get that schedule solidified in the next couple of days. I hope you all can join and participate. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Hey @snyksec, I just found a huge vulnerability in javascript: ``` while (true) ``` This is functionally identical to every vulnerability report your researchers have created on my projects.

This community has been amazing. I will continue to support this token and community. This means a lot to me and will help me continue support the code I am building. 2F3VSnTdEJAKjWmSahfRG43RZFdkCDzSPySNdpz8pump github.com/jonschlinkert

Is gpt-6-astra trained to write minified code to hide how shitty it is?

This happens too often if you don't read the code: "I overcorrected to avoid a circular dependency that I had created myself."

After `gpt-5.4` updated a helper function implementation to be entirely incorrect, I asked why and was told that it "inferred" the correct signature from the documentation. I asked it which documentation and pointed out in the documentation, I gave it, the correct signature. It's response was: ``` I misread that while refactoring and changed the helper instead of changing my new code, so I’m reverting the helper API and fixing the code to call it correctly. ``` How does it "misread" something!?!? Is this what they mean when they say AI will replace developers?

When using a LLM, how often do you start a question with, "Why did you"?
