I grew up in Cobb. It was the power base for Newt Gingrich, Phil Gingrey, Tom Price. One of the reddest places in Georgia.
Now it's a blue county, and the GOP base is being pushed out to rurals that are thinning in population.
Either GAGOP moderates or it stops existing.
Looking at the GA EV data in comparison to 2024 shows how dire this turnout environment is for the GOP (Map by @_fat_ugly_rat_)
The GOP is just getting nuked in DeKalb, Cobb, and ClayCo

Based on a large sample size, about three G5 teams should make a 24 team playoff any given year, based on their own merit. Most people would be fine with that representation
Someone has a lot of explaining to do if that number consistently drops to 1 with no rhyme or reason
