For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege to volunteer as an NYS EMT for my local ambulance corps (Hatzolah of Great Neck and Queens). 2020 was beyond challenging, our call volume exploded and we responded to community needs regardless of the risk and danger to ourselves 1/

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists crossed into Israel from Gaza and brutally murdered more than 1,200 innocent souls, committing unspeakable acts of sexual violence and taking over 250 innocents hostage — including American citizens.
As we mark the third anniversary of October 7th, Lori and I are thinking of all those who lost loved ones on that horrific day, and we are praying for healing, comfort, and peace.

The world demonizes Israel 365 days a year.
Perhaps, for just one day—October 7th—the critics of Israel could take a vacation from their hysterical hatred of the world’s only Jewish State and find it within themselves to express condolences for the thousands of Israelis murdered, maimed, mutilated, raped, and abducted at the hands of Hamas.

Three years since the October 7th massacre.
Don't look away. The darkest days are often the ones we need to remember the most.

Three years ago today, the world witnessed the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Families were torn apart, children kidnapped, women assaulted, and the elderly slaughtered: some 809 civilians were killed, while 252 would endure captivity as hostages.
In January, the last body of the hostages killed was finally returned following the return of the last living hostage last year. The return offered some closure to the conflict as the last body was laid to rest, but we know the scourge of antisemitism is not over.
The hatred that fueled October 7th did not remain on foreign shores. Right here in Canada, far too many synagogues, Jewish businesses and institutions have been the targets of harassment and hate.
This is not, and cannot become, normal. Conservatives will always fight against antisemitism and all forms of hatred: protecting our schools, communities and places of worship so that Canadians of all faiths can live in peace and security.
Today, alongside our Jewish friends and neighbours, we remember those who lost their lives that day. May their memory be a blessing.

On the third anniversary of the October 7th Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, we remember the more than 1,200 people murdered—including 48 Americans—the 251 hostages abducted, and the communities forever shattered.
For the first time, we mark this anniversary with no hostages remaining in captivity. I will always carry with me the stories of the former hostages and families I met—their unimaginable pain, extraordinary courage, and tireless advocacy to bring their loved ones home.
On the anniversary of the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust, I stand proudly with our Jewish community against antisemitism. I remain committed to strengthening security, increasing accountability, and confronting this hatred in all its forms.

Three years ago, on October 7, Israel suffered a horrific terrorist attack by Hamas that claimed the lives of more than 1200 Israelis and foreign nationals, including Ukrainians, and left countless families facing unbearable loss and pain.
Today, Ukraine joins the people of Israel in remembering the victims of that tragic day. Our thoughts are with the families who lost their loved ones, with those who survived the attacks, and with everyone whose life was forever changed.
Ukrainians know all too well the pain caused by violence and the loss of innocent lives. We stand in solidarity with the Israeli people and wish strength to all those who continue to carry the wounds of October 7.
May the memory of the victims be a blessing.

I pay tribute to the families of those who were killed, survivors of the attacks and hostages for the courage they have shown.
This attack on Israel, the world's only Jewish state, was committed by evil terrorists who want to eliminate Israel, kill Jews and oppose our values. Terrorism can never be allowed to succeed.

The unspeakable savagery and terror of 7 October must never happen again.
The EU remains ready to help turn today’s fragile ceasefire into a durable peace, based on a two-state solution.

October 7 was an act of pure evil. There can be no justification for terrorism, no rationalization of antisemitism, and no rewriting of what happened that day.
We must remember. We must speak the truth. And we must stand against antisemitism and hate wherever they appear.
May the memory of those we lost be a blessing.

We are grateful for the relentless efforts of the Trump Administration and international leaders that brought home every living hostage from Gaza.

It’s hard to fathom that it has been three years since the October 7 Hamas massacre. Three years since the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
The pain of that dark day has not faded. But neither has the strength, resilience and enduring hope of the Jewish people.
Today, we remember the innocent lives stolen, stand with the survivors and the families forever changed, and pray for a lasting peace.
