I can’t empathize with the envious and the smarmy.
It shocks me that one could let fear dominate love. Fear of unlove. What if this child doesn’t love me? What if my spouse doesn’t love me enough to get through life without my or their genetic investment in the child? Here it becomes, again, a trump card, and the highest service for all involved. The child is a precious thing, more precious that the way things were before, without all this intention and all these considerations, and there is no higher service in this life, this cause. It secures love in service, love in devotion. Plus, there’s kinda something weird about having the child of someone you’re romantically involved with. That’s probably why these spheres of life were separate throughout history lol. Ain’t that a pip. It’s simply indulgent. Cisgenic dynasty is so indulgent. Imagine wanting your children with all their flaws to have gaudy luxuries the way some dynastics do. Disgusting. When you can raise one who’s probably going to be a better person for everyone in every way, a holier person.
