I am thoroughly proud of you mum and the other women that stood up and refused to mortgage their conscience.
My mum came back from a political meeting today and this woman was vibrating. She was so Angry 😂
My mum was a Labour Party member. According to her, the people who invited them said they were still supporting Peter Obi. “We are still Obidient,” kinikan kinikan.
They had also given her a position as secretary in their community group, so she went.
Only for them to share polo shirts with “Obidient” in front and “For PBAT” at the back.
Ah! How did we enter this one? 😂
She said she stood up with some other women and challenged them.
“How can you use Obi’s name to bring us here, only for us to arrive and meet another thing?”
Apparently, there were bags of rice and groundnut oil too. Each person was supposed to collect a bag of rice and oil.
I asked her, “So did you collect?”
She said no. And according to her, about half of the women who attended rejected the items too. They left the polo, rice and oil there and went home.
Our mothers don dey wise o! 😂👏🏽
Please, what have you people been telling your mothers? Because this one made me proud.
Me, I know the conversation I had with my own mum. Support whoever you genuinely want to support. That is your choice. But please, do not collect money or food in exchange for your vote. Your children and grandchildren will live with the consequences long after that rice has finished.
Even if they bring a trailer of rice, na only rice we go chop? What about security? Healthcare? Jobs? Our children’s education?
And if you want people to support your candidate, tell them plainly who you are campaigning for. Why use one person’s name to gather supporters for another?
A very big thank you to the young people having these conversations with their parents. Sometimes, you think they are not listening, then something happens and you realise your words stayed with them.
Today, my mum made me proud. And those women who stood up with her? I am proud of them too. ❤️

NIGERIAN MEDIA NEEDS TO STOP USING IGBO-ETHNIC SUSPICION AS CONTENT STRATEGY.
@PeterObi @ARISEtv @ruffydfire @ayomairoese @0xArbit @OjyOkpe @channelstv @NewsCentralTV @NTANewsNow
Every time an Igbo politician appears on the air, 1966 is resurrected, the “Igbo coup” narrative is recycled, with constant dog whistling about “trust”; as if an entire ethnic group must eternally defend itself for events from six decades ago.
And you call this journalism? No, this is fanning the flames of primordial propaganda, and it’s borderline bigotry.
At a time when we are currently drowning in insecurity, mass kidnapping, economic collapse, and multi‑dimensional poverty; with some of the worst atrocities and human suffering in the history of our country, this is reprehensible and unprofessional.
May I remind you Peter Obi was barely a 5 year old kid at the time this unfortunate event happened probably dodging bombs and bullets; yet there’s always this penchant to attach it to him like a hunchback.
The other day, it was @seunOkin with his performative “I want you to look into that camera and assure the North an Onitsha man from Anambra can be trusted.”; spent an ample amount of time on the subject yet would’nt even allow for enough time for an actual policy discussion.
This obsession with 1966 isn’t about history; it’s about manufacturing suspicion around Igbo political ambition. It’s a coded message: “You can run, but you must first prove your loyalty.” No other region is forced into this ritual of ancestral interrogation. It’s discriminatory, it’s inflammatory, and it keeps Nigeria permanently stuck in the past.
Nigeria cannot move forward if our media keeps weaponizing old wounds to sabotage certain candidates.
Stop fanning ethnic tension. Stop laundering bigotry as journalism.
And going forward, political leaders of Igbo extraction need to stop dignifying this asinine question of “loyalty/trust” test with a response.
This is a sad commentary for the country...
A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.
Someone wants to finish Nigerian youths.
Someone somewhere is trying to turn Nigerians into zombies. There are unseen hands pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Mexican drug cartels & other foreigners moving into your bushes & setting up shop is no coincidence.
THE QUESTION IS, WHY NOW ?!!!
Following the War with Vietnam (1955-1975), substance crisis broke out among U.S. service members in Southeast Asia. The primary product was low-cost, high-purity heroin.
The "Golden Triangle,” (where the borders of Thailand, Laos, & Myanmar meet), served as the major global hub for opium production.
Then came “the Cocaine Boom” of the mid-to-late 1970s & 1980s. Cocaine poured into the United States from Latin America.
Cartels smuggled the product through Miami & the Caribbean. In Southeast Asia, Leslie "Ike" Atkinson (an American service veteran codenamed "Sergeant Smack,” used military logistics & personal networks to smuggle heroin out of Thailand. But before all of that, we had “the American Mafia & the French Connection.”
The Sicilian Mafia & the Corsican Mafia (the French Connection) handled distribution through Europe into the United States.
They began moving large amounts of heroin into America in the 1930s through the 1970s, right after World War II. By 1951, Lucky Luciano & the Corsicans have pooled their resources to give rise to the notorious “French Connection.”
The Italian Mafia is an all-too-familiar story that we all grew up with. Lucky Luciano was the one that created “The Commission.” He was a maverick, he did the unthinkable. He did not personally represent a family; however, he was one of the criminal masterminds who organized New York City's Italian-American gangs into the Five Families. Instead of positioning himself as the sole "boss of all bosses” (capo di tutti capi), Luciano abolished the title & created The Commission to govern the “Five families.”
The Commission is the governing board led by the heads of the major crime families to settle disputes peacefully. The Five Families are the Bonanno, Colombo, Gambino, Genovese, & Lucchese families. They were the five major Italian-American Mafia crime groups that controlled organized crime in New York City.
The Five Families were created after a major mob war in 1931, Lucky Luciano & Salvatore Maranzano reorganized the Italian-American gangs in New York City into the Five Families.
The Five Families:
Genovese: The largest & most powerful family, often called the "Ivy Board of the Mafia." Luciano served as its first official boss.
Gambino: Powerful bosses like Carlo Gambino & John Gotti led this crime family.
Lucchese: A close-knit founded by Gaetano Gagliano & expanded by Tommy Lucchese.
Bonanno: Founded by Joseph Bonanno himself. This family operates in NY & parts of Canada.
Colombo: The youngest of the five families, originally organized by Joe Profaci.
The Five Families still operate today, but are much smaller & weaker than they used to be. They no longer hold the power they once had.
This was way before South American cartels (like the Medellín or Cali cartels) started to move products into the United States.
America has yet to recover from it !!!
Do not allow the same fate to befall Nigeria. You won’t recover from the zombie apocalypse.
Terrorism & hard drugs go hand in hand. You have failed to defeat terrorism for almost two decades. You don’t have the sophistication or the combat tools the United States has.
Adding a drug menace to your list of worries makes it a double whammy. It is still early days, & the Niger area can still salvage the situation.
Do not allow "unseen hands" to turn your children into zombies. If Nigeria becomes a hub for the cartels & illicit drugs—on top of your existing list of problems, you are finished! 😞
It is saddening...
Replying to @Tinubunomics @Onsogbu
Ah Na wa o. Nobody will be spared insults in defence of Tinubu. The only group tinubu yoruba supporters dont insult is fulani kidnapping their obas and the sultan.
They said those ones can kill all of them but those left alive will still vote tinubu.
Hmmmmm.....
Those who always say our votes don't count, should have a rethink.
If our votes don't count, do you think Tinubu will go this far to try to shrink the democratic space?
He's fighting to crippled ADC, NDC and other opposition parties by bribing useful idiots and judges.
If our votes don't count he wouldn't bother going this far.
Your votes count. That's why they paid as much as N15k to buy votes in Ekiti state elections.
Go and get your PVC to vote for Peter Obi in 2027.
Your vote counts a lot.
Need I say more?
Atiku has never supported a Southerner. He has no respect for the South. We supported him in 2019. Peter Obi gave him the highest number of votes in his entire political career.
When it’s time for the North, you are there! When it’s time for the South, you are there!
Wike scattered the PDP because of you.
Opposition Coalition failed because of you.
No sense of time. No sense of equity.
No sense of wisdom. No sense of probity.
Waziri will never support a Southern Candidate.
HE WILL CONTINUE TO RUN………. 💔💔
Way to go....

One Nigeria Must Be OK.
How can terrorism stop in Nigeria when those saddled with the responsibility for ensuring security are the sponsors of terrorism?
