DOLI crossed block 800,000 today, for the first time. 🎉 It has been quite a journey. 🧵

Since March, we have done about 25 genesis resets. In the early months, we could not get past block 30,000. It was one fork after another. We once reached block 700,000. Then a mistake on my part cost us the network, and we went back to genesis.

Since this genesis, we have shipped many changes, some of them big shifts in consensus. The network stayed stable through all of them. We handled several situations on the way. None was critical. Thank you to everyone who stayed with us. On to the next one. 🚀

Upgrades are where chains quietly break. Overnight DOLI mainnet went from v6.43.3 to v6.44.0. Blocks kept landing at ~10s and 100 producers are still active today. When a new node release drops, do you upgrade first or wait a day and watch?

Holding keys and still asking a corporate API what you own isn't sovereignty. What's the smallest machine you've actually verified a full chain on?

Most chains brag about blocks produced. The harder number is slots filled. Last 26 hours on DOLI: 9,494 ten-second slots, 9,360 blocks. 98.6% filled, weakest hour 96.3%. Missed slots are where producer liveness shows. What reliability number do you trust most?

150ms finality makes great headlines. The quieter question: after the tip races ahead, can someone on a used laptop and a home connection still verify the whole chain from genesis without asking permission? If that answer slips, speed stopped being decentralization and became a spectator sport. What do you optimize for first — tip latency, or who can still check?

Node runners: what's the cheapest machine you've kept a full node running on for a whole year? Mini PC, old laptop, Raspberry Pi, something stranger? Tell us what it was and which chain.

🛠️ DOLI network update This week, nodes ran out of memory. Cause: our gossip layer relayed txs before the node checked them. Re-packed copies looked new, so a relay loop filled send queues with GBs of data 💥 🧵👇

✅ Fixed in v6.43.3: no relay before checks, no internal deadlock. 📊 Since then: flood gone, zero freezes, zero reward loss. ⚠️ Producers: never run one key on two machines.

🧱 Next: a stronger design 🗳️ Relay only after the node's own checks 🚦 Blocks + attestations get priority over txs 🔒 No deadlock, by design 🧪 Testnet first. No consensus change, no hard fork. Run v6.43.3 today 🙌

No smart-contract VM on DOLI. Outputs carry declarative conditions — multisig, hash/time locks, thresholds, AND/OR — capped at 128 ops, depth 4. Bounded by design. Young network. Clear rules. Still shipping every week ⏳ doli.network

Every block reward flows into a pool address with no private key — a domain-separated BLAKE3 hash. Nobody can spend it; consensus distributes it. Young network. Clear rules. Still shipping every week ⏳ doli.network

No premine. No ICO. No treasury. ~25.23M DOLI max. 1 DOLI per block, halving every 12,614,400 blocks. Every coin comes from block rewards. Fair launch isn't a slogan — it's in the consensus constants. Young network. Still shipping every week ⏳ doli.network

Our Proof of Time heartbeat isn't mining and it isn't a VDF. Every block: 1,000 chained BLAKE3 hashes. Verify = recompute. Tiny tick. Your bond secures your slot. Young network. Clear rules. Still shipping every week ⏳ doli.network

DOLI's schedule is plain math ⏳ slot = (time − genesis) / 10s producer = epoch_list[slot % len] No lottery. No stake auction. No randomness to grind. Every node computes the same answer. Young network. Same rules for everyone. doli.network

Same reward per bond whether you hold 1 or 3,000. Every 360 blocks the pool splits by bond among producers who attested in at least 54 of 60 minutes. Show up, get paid. No block-luck lottery. Time is the only fair currency ⏳ doli.network

Commitment on DOLI is priced in, not timed out. Withdraw a bond in year 1 and 75% is burned; year 2, 50%; year 3, 25%; after that, 0%. Long-term producers keep everything. No unbonding queue. Just skin in the game. ⏳ doli.network

Every DOLI block reward flows into a pool address with no private key — a domain-separated BLAKE3 hash. Nobody can spend it; consensus splits it by bond among producers who showed up. Same ROI per bond. No block luck. Just time and presence. ⏳ doli.network
