We need to see much stronger scrutiny of how public money is spent by external organisations. I want to work with government colleagues to see this addressed. So much taxpayers money is spent by external organisations. We have an obligation to ensure value for money & impact.

Simon Harris as Minister for Health signed the main contract for construction of the National Children's Hospital in 2019. The project has missed completion deadlines and is likely to cost โ‚ฌ2.4 billion. The initial budget was โ‚ฌ984 million. Providing no value for money. finegael.ie/national-childโ€ฆ

Rugby heads in Ireland will claim that it is a working class sport while sending there children to a private rugby school that costs thousands
10,403 people at Thomond Park tonight Let that sink in for a minute 10,403 people at the self-proclaimed spiritual home of Munster rugby Oh there'll be a litany of excuses, the weather, our form, the price of tickets, there's always an excuse, but ticket sales don't lie #SUAF

Gambling is kino. You are just one more bet away from making millions โ€ฆ.
Gambling is not evil, and a Restore Britain Government will reduce taxes on the industry. Adults should be free to make their own choices about how they spend their own money - a wild thing for a political party to say, I know. Britain has a successful gambling industry that supports local economies all over the country. In my constituency alone we have horse racing, a greyhound stadium, plenty of arcades and more. We should be encouraging responsible operators to thrive, not taxing them into dust. Problem gambling is an issue and should be properly addressed. But punishing an entire industry, costing thousands of jobs, for the actions of a very small number is not the answer. Restore Britain will back British gambling.

Not that long ago, Catholic children were forced to play Gaelic games... They weren't allowed to play soccer... "English" games were forbidden... Sad really...

Iโ€™m stating the obvious here but the reason Ireland is submitting to Americanisation is due to entering the Anglosphere during the Anglo occupation. ๐Ÿ‘
