This scene shows a largely static feeling Spiderman "falling" doing random flips while the camera switches between the same up and down positions at expected times. Every MCU Spiderman has atleast 4 scenes dogging this one, get raimis nostalgia dick out of your ass

to me Spider-Man used to represent the heights of action filmmaking with its soaring camerawork and dynamic pace. but they just don’t do it like this any more. can’t think of a single moment in MCU Spider-Man that comes close to this in terms of cinematography and sound design

the type of woke takes that made trump win btw

let’s talk about how racist and misogynistic it is that a game like forespoken was laughed at until it flopped, but spiderman 2 and likely this game just get to walk free and sell millions.

Idk how you can be so particular about needing Spider-Man movies to have x,y and z but then say Punisher was your favourite character and dynamic in BND You mean you agree Peter would be this buddy buddy with a guy who is murdering baddies on the street every day?

they do hit on some of these elements and i wanna highlight that i think Peter’s dynamic with Frank is fantastic, Punisher was my fav character in the movie but i wouldve liked a whole movie delving into his isolationism before bringing MJ and Ned back into the picture

His choice to have Strange cast the forget spell is not him taking responsibility in NWH?? What would he even be taking responsibility over, interrupting his first spell a few times? Rather, the choice was a result of the responsibility he had respecting the entire movie
buggy@bugtrioAug 2
Replying to @bugtrio
the main struggle for him in BND is to undo his moment of truly taking responsibility for his actions in NWH and in doing so he becomes stronger, has even keener senses, and can produce organic webbing

The entire movie May is pushing him to take responsibility for these Villains by trying to save them. In doing so, they stay too long, fight back, and ultimately Peter has to pay the price FOR being responsible and have everyone forget him. BND does not try to undo any of this

The choice itself was not him taking responsibility, so him trying to undo the ramifications of the choice is not him trying to undo taking responsibility.
