Grateful to young volunteers from Duke of Edinburgh scheme helping out in the garden yesterday, preparing beds for planting onions & potatoes, digging up some of this year’s potatoes & weeding the front border.

Great to see the @DoddGarden acknowledged for the great work it does in the community! Proud to be part of this. Thanks @wandbc for the civic award to the garden committee!
The Doddington Roof Garden is a haven for those wanting to escape the hustle & bustle of city life. In May and September this year, the garden was visited by US Ambassador to the UK, Jane Hartley, as a notable example of a community initiative. #CelebratingourHeroes #CivicAwards

We’ll cover what forest gardening is & learn about planting combinations (plant guilds) that work with nature. This method of gardening is great for us & for wildlife. @ProjectOrchard will help us create a forest garden on the roof. Fruity snacks & refreshments provided!
We’re taking part in the Great Big Green Week 10th to 18th June. Drop in at any of our gardening sessions to help with tasks such as weeding & watering, or simply come & enjoy some time outdoors in nature up on the roof.
One job you can help with is planting new donated herb plants in the herb maze. Add more compost first as the beds are very dry, & give them a good water once they’re planted.#Gardening #VolunteerLondon #Battersea #CommunityGarden #DoddingtonEstate #RolloEstate #GreatBigGreenWeek
Delighted with our new sign created by LondonSquare and put up by wonderful @GGWandsworth volunteers, who also stayed to help bring plants up to the garden - you truly went above and beyond!
Huge thanks also to all the garden volunteers & Doddington residents who gave up their bank holiday Monday to bring donated plants up to the garden.
Immense gratitude to London Square & garden designer James Smith for donating all these beautiful plants from their Chelsea Flower Show sanctuary garden - they will make a huge difference, as will the kitchen elements of the garden coming soon! #Gardening #Gratitude
