Practice in the US is changing (albeit slowly) with greater oncoplastic training availto breast surgeons (as demonstrated by the ASBRS, ACS, school of oncoplastic surgery courses & accreditation ). It doesn’t matter who does the surgery as long as they are appropriately trained.
