As someone who's now been to 11% of the world I can tell you confidently that travel is overrated. Some people make it their whole personality, they're are often attempting to fill a void or avoid emptiness. A stable and rich community of family and friends beats travel everyday.
Pls don’t spend all your last penny on travel. Sometimes I’ve totally forgotten about an experience until I see it on my camera roll. I just saw a video now about an experience that I had completely forgotten about. I know social media has been quite heavy about pro travel content but pls only do it within your means. It’s not a life or death activity. If you can afford it then by all means enjoy it. Otherwise, wait it out.

If there's one event you should never have FOMO about especially as a founder, it's all the rubbish shenanigans at UNGA. A total and complete waste of time and energy. If someone is not footing your full bill to be there and you won't be on a stage don't even bother attending. Don't say I didn't do anything for you.
A top job of a CEO is information gathering. Hard to gather that information by sitting in the office. That's why travel, conferences, networking events, etc., can be a lifeline in making you a better CEO. Been on the road over the last few weeks and learned so much stuff that's helped me connect several dots I wouldn't have otherwise. Your reminder to "get out of the building" often!
