This is exactly why this guy should not be speaker of the house! We didnโt turn the tide and create a blue tsunami to have this idiot come back.
.@hakeemjeffries
Only you could undermine a historic night for Democrats by going on TV and saying "The American people don't want us to get even"
It's never been about that.
It IS about ACCOUNTABILITY and the RULE OF LAW.
And your failure to understand this is DISQUALIFYING

Heโs a fucking clown. Heโs not going to win anyway. Heโs a single term senator. No one gives a shit about this clown.

Donโt act like you care now you piece of shit! You are part of the problem and you promoted all of this crap Your time is coming and the next election youโre out of there as well.

We cannot just turn the damn page on Donald Trumpโs corruption.
We must expose the grift, hold those responsible accountable, and make sure it NEVER happens again.

That only means where it is now not the future.

This is exactly why you guys lost. You have no policyโฆ You have just stupid child-like memes and using the White House account to share them. It is pathetic!

I understand youโre frustrated, but why go on other peopleโs tweets just to bash things? Thatโs the part that boggles me about people. Itโs just quite interesting to watch people do that. Life is way too short to hold onto that anger.
Replying to @KGhazzagh
If youโre out of the stock now, why do you care so much? It honestly boggles me when investors lose money on something and get out of it yet continue to post about it.
Replying to @KGhazzagh
Come on youโre smarter than that. Look at the sector and the whole market. Everything is getting trashed today. On days like this you canโt look at individual stocks and you also have to look at volumes.

So clearly everyone can see Hakeem Jeffries' meeting with Kushner was, as reported, about taking it easy on Donald Trump.
The Epstein Empire will never come down with Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer at the helm. xitter.cf/BenjaminPDixon/status/โฆ
I've literally never heard this negro talk like this about Black people in America
Can we NOT get leaders committed to us the way they are to Israel?
Huh, @hakeemjeffries?

BREAKING: ๐ต๐พ What just happened in PARAGUAY is a WARNING for everyone on earth.
More than 3 million people (60% of Paraguay's adult population) have lost access to EVERYTHING. Their bank accounts. Their pensions. Frozen. Inaccessible.
Paraguayโs largest digital bank, Ueno Bank, has collapsed.
The president of the Central Bank (who is deeply connected to Ueno) has just RESIGNED. Eight high-level executives including the founder and the Bank President are being detained.
The people have taken to the streets to demand their money back. And rightly so.
This is the model Milei and the rest of the Epstein class are pushing. This could happen ANYWHERE. Best to save in physical gold and physical silver, imo.
I agree that the reason Republicans lost is the Iran war. I would add the corruption epitomized by the Epstein cover up.
Here is what I propose:
1. Support a continuing resolution prohibiting the financing of any combat activities of the U.S. military in Iran. End the Iran war like we did for Vietnam.
2. Support the zeroing out of all aid to Israel in the continuing resolution.
3. Support Massie and my Epstein 2.0 Act to allow state attorney generals to prosecute the pedophiles who abused and trafficked young girls.
Will you actually now do any of these three things?
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"โwhether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasnโt sharp enough down the stretch. Iโm sure thatโs true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollsterโone of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday weโd lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (Sheโs also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcementโby focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, โI told you soโ: youโre right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Letโs take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

The Democratic caucus should open its leadership selection process to more input from the partyโs base. Jeffries and Schumer are not the peopleโs choice to lead.

Biggest mistake democrats could do now is make Jeffrey speaker of the house and Schumer majority senate leader. BOTH are compromised. BOTH are funded by AIPAC.
OUTST THEM.
ACCOUNTABILITY MATTERS.
