With @realDonaldTrump being so concerned with “how bad slavery was” by the @smithsonian, these will sadly all be gone.

“Scientific data is not political and must not be treated as such. Cloaking of information damages health care decisions and stifles future innovations and medical developments, leading to long-term consequences for our patients.”

Tired of being the perpetual ally and NEVER getting the same in return. I’m not comforting anyone. I’m not wiping anyone’s tears. I don’t want to see any blue bracelets or pussy hats. It’s performative. Do the work. Protecting my peace moving forward. Let it burn to the studs.

You know what's getting old? Having you and your father politicize gun violence. Unlike your children that you are using for this purpose, my daughter was killed in the Parkland shooting. I remember when your dad also politicized her murder. How about instead of your BS, use this as your chance to call for less gun violence.
In June I spoke at the US Capitol with @RepMaxwellFrost, @RepBarbaraLee, @JosephSakran about gun violence. Families have to go home without their children tonight. I pray for their peace. I hope that peace comes with change. When will the mounting bodies of children be enough?

Glad to join @RepMaxwellFrost, @RepBarbaraLee and colleagues @dochawkmd @ArnittaRenee to highlight the @Surgeon_General declaration of firearm violence as a public health crisis. @ThisIsOurLane

Spent the day at The White House. I wish the physicians who are fighting this fight every day had been given more of a chance to tell @VP our stories. It was a great discussion, @AmandaZurawski is so brave. @chrissyteigen is using her platform to raise awareness.

So excited to spend 2 weeks in Washington DC as the ACOG McCain Fellow. I am ready to dive into policy and issues that affect healthcare outcomes, reimbursement, health disparities, maternal mortality and rural healthcare deserts. #maternalmortality

Obstetricians are fleeing red state abortion bans. Patients & doctors are suffering. I went to Idaho to profile a family practice doctor left behind. Honored that she shared her story. I'm gifting it here: nytimes.com/2023/09/06/us/po…

Good morning to everyone EXCEPT, Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters!
Republican Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters says the Tulsa massacre in Greenwood can be taught in schools but the instruction should not mention the issue of race. "Let's not tie it to skin color"
For two days in 1921 — black residents were terrorized and had their homes and businesses destroyed by white lynch mobs. The event is considered one of the worst incidents of racial violence in American history
