what if, hear me out, you did a deal with Iran wherein they agreed to not pursue a nuclear weapon but rather than just take their word for it you would have weapons inspectors with real access to make sure they were abiding by that commitment. You'd have specific caps on what they could enrich. You'd have real time reporting. You'd cut down their centrifuges and convert other sites to alternative purposes. Yes, you'd have to give them something in return. Maybe sanctions relief. But you could always snap it back in place if they did something wrong. Just a thought for the Trump team at this tricky moment.
