and2ble’s yoo seungeon mentioned #DOYOUNG on lee mujin service 🥹 - seeing how sincere you are about this, i imagine you must have quite a few vocal role models 👤 that’s right - who are some of them? 👤 first of all, doyoung sunbaenim, baekhyun sunbaenim and yang yoseob sunbaenim. recently, the three of them have been a huge source of inspiration for me - that’s basically every male vocalist in the k-pop industry who’s known for being a great singer. they’re even from different generations 👤 that’s right - among them, is there someone who’s remained your all-time favourite role model over the years? 👤 i really like nct’s doyoung sunbaenim. so much such that there’s practically no fancam that i haven’t watched. if you look at my youtube watch history, i’ve watched every single one. they’re all marked with the red progress bar because i’ve watched them all - almost like you’re a fan who’s actively following him? 👤 yes - we’ve actually had him as a guest here before, and his vocal support was incredibly stable. he really sang like someone who had majored in musical theatre 👤 i watched that video too, and the way he moves from his lower register to his higher register and back down is so smooth. you can really hear how open and unrestricted his voice is throughout, and that’s something i really admire. i’ve also watched a lot of how he takes care of himself. and as an idol, there’s a certain aura and sense of pressure that comes with being the main vocalist when it’s your turn to sing, right? there’s a certain weight and presence to it. i wanted to emulate that so much that i even started copying the way he walks - you really are a hardcore fan, then 👤 that’s right
