🏟️ It sounds like Newcastle are deciding between two stadium options, according to @mhardysport. 1⃣ Build a brand-new 65,000-seater stadium behind the Leazes End, costing £1.5bn. 2⃣ Redevelop St James' Park & increase the capacity to 60,000, costing around £500m. #NUFC

🇪🇸 The initial excitement surrounding Newcastle United prospect Antoñito Cordero appears to be fading as the young forward faces heavy criticism in the Spanish press. After joining us on a free transfer last summer—beating out giants like Real Madrid and Barcelona—Cordero was sent on loan to Westerlo before moving to Cádiz in January. However, his return to Spain has been anything but triumphant. Local outlets, specifically Málaga Hoy, have been quick to point out that the 19-year-old’s performances have been entirely unremarkable. Since joining Cádiz, he has failed to record a single goal or assist in LaLiga2. This lack of production was particularly evident during a recent 3-0 loss to his former club, Málaga. While his former team handled his return with a level of affection, the media coverage has been much more clinical and dismissive. The narrative regarding Cordero has shifted from high-potential wonderkid to a cautionary tale of "hype" not meeting reality. Journalists have noted that there has been no discernible leap in quality since his move to England, and the patience of the Cádiz faithful is reportedly wearing thin. For many in Spain, there is a sense of quiet satisfaction in his struggles, especially after Málaga felt slighted by his decision to leave for a bigger paycheck in the Premier League. At this stage, the young loanee finds himself at a crossroads. The objective data simply does not support the reputation he arrived with, leaving him with a narrowing window of time to prove he can still justify the significant interest we showed in him last year. Another loan next season seems inevitable as he will be nowhere near the levels Newcastle need him to be at to trouble the first team! #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

You cannot convince me that United and Liverpool don’t get completely different kinds of media coverage. The 007 gimmick started for Sancho. I had never seen this gimmick before Sancho. Now that it’s for Wirtz, a meme has suddenly become an insult. There are United based journalists at Athletic and there are others who cover United related data frequently. Never seen them writing an article defending a United player this way. What’s so special about Liverpool?

"Flow" is the mental state your brain enters when you're completely involved in an activity that brings you so much joy, you lose the sense of space and time

Bruno Guimarães on Sandro Tonali: “He went through a difficult moment in his career but he’s always been positive. He’s an unbelievable player and a really amazing guy. “This morning I joked with him ‘it’s time for you to score my friend!’ So I was just as happy for him as if I scored the goals myself. “He was out (last year suspended) but he was always there supporting us. He learnt English already, is a massive player for us and I’m so proud of him. “I feel we compliment each other and the gaffer has found a way to benefit the team with our positions. We rotate during the game who is the 6 and who is the 8 and it is working.” #NUFC 🇮🇹 🇧🇷
