Hostile City ambassador/Go Birds absolutist. Once put Trump on hold while buying a sandwich at Wawa.

I have never heard a flow state described so succinctly before.
No exaggeration, this guy might be the best interview in pro sports right now

Family Guy recently made a Civil War version of "Who's on First" that had me crying laughing. It had no business being that good.

And I want to know to what extent did concern for the NFL's betting partners put a sleepless Jalen Hurts out on a London field
This is pure speculation bordering on conspiracy, but like I obviously want to know what, if any, involvement the NFL itself had in the starting QB of one of the teams in their big, marquee London game getting medically cleared to play despite not getting cleared to sleep.

I'm not exaggerating, Jeffrey Lurie needs to hire an independent investigator to review the entire decision making process that led to Jalen Hurts not only playing that game in London, but then getting onto a transatlantic flight back. He could have died, heads need to roll.

Actually we were correct to note Trump’s routinely bizarre, obsequious posture toward Putin. Just because you chose not to see it until now when it’s shoved directly in everyone’s face doesn’t make us hysterical, it makes you transparently wrong all along.
There's been a lot of hysteria over the years at Trump's posture towards Russia, which has often been worse rhetorically than practically. But this time, the wolf comes as a wolf.

Well, *this* I mean, without the crash, I wonder if Hillary Clinton doesn't get nominated and wins.
For those who were adults during the 2008 financial crisis, what was your holy crap, the economy is actually crashing moment?

I was a newspaper reporter in South Jersey covering places with the greatest job losses east of the Mississippi. I saw former high-rolling general contractors survive on pity and yard work. I saw 30-year casino employees walking dogs. And I saw dollar stores go out of business.

I see it's the time of the year again when people start edgyposting about the guy whose repeated behavior so horrified colonial authorities that they dragged him home in chains.

My belief is that cities that only exist because of air conditioning aren't culturally real places, and the fact that nothing is ever set in these blistering exurbs shows we all recognize that fact.

Is it me, or does this look like a movie poster in itself?
Currently in a theater that’s being invaded by mice. I saw one. But then saw others. Kind of distracting. I am going to make a list later: movies where I encountered mice in the theater. I think this is the 4th time it’s happened while I’ve been in NYC.

I'm old enough to remember when Americans wondered what kind of degenerate would watch the livestreamed execution of Daniel Pearl. No difference.

These are great ideas to steal, and I've already done a couple of these with different AIs. My only concern has been my persistent feeling that I am somehow being steered to some company that paid for the privilege.
If AI labs want personal assistants to take off at scale, they need to stop marketing vacations, reservations, party planning, etc. These are not problems. Focus on *the* problem facing Americans: the cost of living. Agents can offer a ton of help. Some ideas: (🧵)

To be honest, this was the most radicalizing political event in my life, to watch people I had personally covered when I was a journalist -- people I had professional respect for, if not total agreement -- fall in line with the most anti-American proposal in my lifetime.
The most important part of January 6th is the part that's always been left out of the narrative and has now been completely forgotten: A majority of the House Republican caucus voted for Trump's fake electors scheme.

Every time I saw these during the baseball playoffs, I turned to my innocent children and explained the Hatch Act.
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll provides a clue as to why Trump backed down on his taxpayer-funded ads: Americans say 86%-9% that it's inappropriate to use taxpayer funds to pay for election-related ads.

COUNTERPOINT: not dumping the nation's retirement funds into the stock market on the eve of 2008's generational collapse is one of the luckiest things in American history.
Bush Jr had a pretty solid plan to save social security and it was killed in no small part because of Boomers
