From afar, it seemed all Maradona ever wanted was to see Argentina be World Champion again. It’s a shame he did not get to see it. Messi wins the only trophy he was missing. What an otherworldly career.

Raspberry Pi might be on their way to find out how quickly mismanaging social media can hit you in the face.
Oh look FTX hosted all the NFTs minted on their platform using a web2 API and now all those NFTs have broken metadata and the links go to a restructuring website.
Ok, a few days after #ChatGPT fever … one interesting thing is how, by making it open and because of its more “generic” scope (as opposed to their own DALL-E or Github’s Copilot), OpenAI has given so many more people a more concrete (and for some, shocking) view of AI state.

#ChatGPT is not perfect, but it’s already pretty impressive. I find it very interesting to see how AI will become more pervasive in content being generated, especially online, and how we’ll have to be evermore critical of what we’re consuming (and cross-check information)

A case in point are a number of wrong answers and facts “created” in replies to questions, with fake references, given by #ChatGPT. @StackOverflow has banned it (at least for now) for this exact reason: meta.stackoverflow.com/quest…
Finally! These are really good news: apple.com/newsroom/2022/12/a… I had been waiting for 2FA with security keys for Apple ID for a while and the rest of the security features were a much welcomed surprise.

I don’t understand how COVID is spiking again after we’ve tried everything from pretending it’s over to pretending it never happened

‘Tis the season for Apple Music Replay and Spotify Wrapped, lalalalala lala la la
It appears I’m in need of a new laptop charger … just when I was considering maybe it was time to get a new laptop.
One of the greats. RIP

I might need to spend the rest of the morning watching videos from Youtube productivity gurus on how to stop procrastinating.

It will be interesting to see what Elon Musk accomplishes. Even more so because, if successful, this might become a blueprint that other companies will be pressured to follow.
