Could not be more proud of @LizeBailey! She’s always wanted to write a children’s book and now she’s holding the printed copy of one she co-authored for Bays Mountains 50th. She get to shows off her creativity and wit in the book - just a few of the many things I love about her. – at Colonial Heights, TN

CTE In-Service fall 2021! Thanks to Bell (Helicopter) and @northeaststate for letting us spend the day with you! Great tours and resources for our students. @KCS_DBHS @KCS_District @TribePrincipal
Had a great day visiting @BellFlight in Piney Flats and @northeaststate new building. Lots of amazing opportunities for students to explore and build careers here in Northeast Tennessee.
Biggest take away from @inkyjohnson today: “We don’t burnout because of what we do. We burnout because life makes us forget why we do it.” This year I’m focused on that why each day. Thanks @KCS_District for the inspiration and a great opening to the year. – at Colonial Heights, TN

Two teachers soaking up a much needed vacation after the crazy 2020-21 school year. ❤️☀️🏝 #onislandtime – at Hilton Head Island, SC
My students have helped me survive this year. I’m thankful for their kindness and curiousity, but I know that I have not been the teacher they deserved. I just hope I’ve been the teacher they needed. Can’t wait to reflect this summer and rediscover the teacher I’m meant to be. – at Colonial Heights, TN
Proud of this senior who worked hard and earned the Comptia ITF+ this Spring. He’s already looking at the next cert he wants to tackle. Ambition and hard work are going to open many doors for him.
A student asked to print their geometry project today. Six hours in and it’s looking great. Love being able to hit print and see something become reality. Can’t wait to give it to him tomorrow.

Proud of @LizeBailey for representing TN at the CCSSO Legislative Conference and the amazing work Sullivan County Schools is doing with literacy. Hopefully, others can learn from her journey and the good work that is happening in TN.

Thank you @SullCoSchools and @KCS_District for giving these two teachers a day to have an opportunity to receive the COVD-19 vaccination. 🙌❤💉 – at Tennessee, USA
Cool to see @KCS_District leadership out directing traffic at the vaccination event. Thanks to everyone working and volunteering for being out and supporting teachers and staff as they get vaccinated. Working together to help KPT and Sullivan Co. go green! – at Tennessee, USA
Proud of D-B's CyberPatriot team. They finished 3rd in the state in the Open Division. Lots of hours spent learning and competing. It's awesome to see that hard work pay off.

Everything changed for me when I started asking, "Does my grading system instill fear or hope?"
That's honestly all it took.
My job is not to terrify kids of failure. My job is to help students see their potential and growth.
My first 3D Printer! Always had one at school but didn’t think it was appropriate to print personal projects. Found a great deal on one and took the leap. Now I’m trying to decide which project to start first. instagram.com/p/CKCv0LoLC1e/…
