Paul Skenes was driving down Perry Highway in Wexford just past seven o’clock Monday night when the Pirates superstar pitcher made a pit stop. It was a Little League field.
Skenes signed autographs for over two hours, connecting with Pittsburgh's next generation.
For @MLB ⤵️

It’s official.
It’s so hard to sit and watch your kid play the game they love and listen to some of the nonsense that parents talk about.
It’s really not that bad.
You don’t need to complain about every little detail.
You don’t need to try and dissect everything the coach is thinking.
You don’t need to get upset over every close ball/strike call.
You don’t need to offer your hitting advice after every pitch.
You don’t need to question every decision.
You don’t need to make excuses for poor play.
Please just stop 🛑
It’s so annoying and embarrassing at the same time.

Due to the snowfall, make sure your exhaust vents for your furnace, hot water heater, and any other appliances are clear. If they become blocked by snow they can cause deadly carbon monoxide to build up in your house. Stay safe everyone!

You know how to *take* the lead, you just don't know how to *hold* the lead.
And that's really the most important part of the lead: the holding. Anybody can just take them.

Electricity costs are up 267% near data centers.
Data centers in Virginia use 40% of state electricity.
By 2028, they’ll consume 12% of all U.S. power.
Big Tech gets tax breaks. You get the bill.
All so they can automate surveillance at scale.
My controversial sports take has been the Bengals would be better off with Browning and all of Joe’s money versus how they built the team. Interested to see just how bad of a sports take that might have been (or genius)
Someday we will study the immensity of negative impact @MrBeast caused an entire generation. One of the most harmful and toxic influences ever and masked so well

As someone without kids I hate to spoil this, but dad friends talk this way to avoid making you feel bad by saying “I don’t want to get $8 beers with you because there is a tiny human who will absolutely light up the second I walk through the door, so I’m going home”
The hell is going on
I spoke with a high-ranking Cincinnati SWAT officer on the street tonight. He stated that their team has repeatedly requested funding from the city for proper gear and equipment, but these requests are consistently denied.
He remarked, “We don’t even have night vision. When we coordinate with higher-level SWAT teams, our effectiveness is limited due to inadequate equipment.”
I’ve spoken with many Cincinnati Police Department (CPD) officers, particularly this month, and they consistently express feeling unsupported by city officials and the current chief.
As mayor, I will commit to supporting our brave officers by prioritizing their needs. This includes eliminating divisive and ineffective programs like the Alternative Response to Crisis (ARC), restoring control of the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) to the CPD, and redirecting unnecessary budget resources toward properly recruiting, training, and equipping our officers. This will ensure they can effectively protect and serve the city they love.
It’s time for change.
