We caught the first screening this morning with @dmuslan at the historic Directors Village theatre in Westwood. My son’s homework from him is to watch Troy and The Return before he sees this a second time.
#TheOdyssey has earned $17.6M in previews at the box office:
• The Christopher Nolan film is estimated to make between $90M to $100M in its opening weekend, which would be the director’s biggest launch since “The Dark Knight Rises” racked up $160M in 2012
• An opening on the higher end would also make it the third 2026 movie to hit or surpass $100M in its debut, alongside “Toy Story 5” ($159M) and “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” ($131M)
