beyond the obvious pedagogical flaws with teaching scripts, remember that they are generally produced by transnational corporations who generate serious economic profit for themselves by (wrongly) convincing teachers that scripts make teaching more equitable and efficient.
Actors use scripts. Musicians use sheet music. Surgeons follow established procedures.
Why are scripts for teachers treated as an affront to professionalism?
@ehanford explains why Direct Instruction uses them.

Pauline Hanson is a huge part of the problem. This One Nation cartoon from 2024 ends with Daniel Andrews being intentionally run over by Bluey. The ending heavily implies Anthony Albanese is intentionally run over too.
It has more than 500,000 views on Youtube

Obscene bank profits are never enough - $15.1b in combined profits and they still hunt for ways to sack thousands of staff - this time using AI as the driver. The issue here is the profits, not the workers.

Good news. One Nation’s Colleen Harkin says there are no plans to do anything about abortion access and it will remain untouched.
Well, that settles it.

The reason why relentless risk-takers are so insanely magnetic is because what many perceive to be luck, witnessing them be caught by life repeatedly, inspires an interrogation of the validity of their own lack of belief that the same is possible for themselves.

One Nation’s latest ad depicts Middle Eastern men as suicide bombers, Africans as machete-wielding criminals and white Australians as One Nation voters.
Jess Wilson will still preference them and help elect One Nation MPs.
Nobody is making her do that. It is her choice.

Scientific claims must always be scrutinised: What assumptions underpin them? Whose experiences are excluded? What alternative explanations are ignored? Science deserves critical examination, not unquestioning deference.
This is why the SOL advocates don’t like sociologists.

One in three students don't feel they belong at school. New Monash research confirms what we've always known — belonging is the precondition for learning. But measuring it and building it are completely different things.
