Imagine how much worse it’ll get when Socialists abolish prisons and defund the police.

New York City is LOSING control of its public spaces to organized groups of juveniles.
These “teen takeovers” are no longer random fights — they’re coordinated groups that storm into restaurants and businesses, start violence, and leave with almost no consequences. The problem has gotten bad enough that multiple McDonald’s across the city have been forced to hire private security and ban unaccompanied teens from entering.
What happened at this McDonald’s in NYC over the weekend is becoming routine.

It's scientific hubris that doesn't understand the essential role of philosophy for science. This is why there is an entire philosophical discipline devoted to it.
Philosophy works "under, within, and outside" of science to make it possible. It underpins science by supplying its basic assumptions about knowledge and reality. It works inside science as a tool for logic and clarity. It also stands outside of science by reflecting on its nature and limits, and also the eventual implications for its application.
Any scientific revolution that has changed its core paradigm has understood the key role of philosophy in all of these areas.
A great example of corporitism/late stage capitalism clashing with vision and authorship, and also shows the conflicts between an original work and an adaptation. Never knew it was this bad though:

Dude, my hero academia is just a cheesy shounen anime with the simple theme of what it takes to be a hero. Not some political critique of Japanese society as the mha is very different from our world. If you think everything is political than it leads to the paradox nothing is political.
Just either touch grass or make you own political superhero setting. Or he'll watch the boys then #ttrpg #DnD #dnd #roleplay #MHA #mha #MyHeroAcademia #anime #manga

Absolute state of this.
Young lad purchases a baseball bat in "Modern England".
As soon as he leaves the store, police grab him for "carrying a weapon".
The bat is literally still in it's plastic covering.
Good points about martial arts and self defense, yet this is an example of bias and close mindedness. All that neuroscience and philosophy, yet it didn't free you from your religious belief in your ego mind. Still blinded.

Of the three 'modern' sword and sorcery movies I watched this weekend, "The Slave and the Sorcerer" was the clear winner.
The next one is "Red Sonja". It wasn't a great movie, I didn't like the preachy ending, but otherwise the fight scenes were good and I felt like it captured the character.
"Deathstalker" was a Deathstalker movie in name only. They weren't even trying to meet the theme of the old movies. It felt more like an Evil Dead movie at times than a sword and sorcery movie. I've watched it once and I doubt I'll ever watch it again.
