Getting really concerned about the egos on this staff
Never wanting to admit their wrong, feeling “disrespected” when people call their historically terrible defense bad
This is not what we want to hear man
#Lions DC Kelvin Sheppard feels it's "ultra disrespectful" to his defensive unit that the perception of this year's team is that the offense has to carry them to victories. "We're gonna do our one-third here, hell or high water. Point blank period," Sheppard said.
blitzing so much with this defense is so backwards. we have a great dline and horrible secondary. we are generating plenty of pressure with 4 up front, drop as many back as possible and maybe we will get more then 1 stop a game
“we finally did it, were a super bowl team! well, 3/4 of it is. were actually ass and YOU could start at corner”

El-Sayed: Donald, please, I'm asking you, come to Michigan. Clearly your candidate can't speak for himself. He doesn't have anything to say. Clearly you are the answer. And you should tell everybody why they should imagine you on the ballot.
Here's the challenge: I think you are too afraid to come to Michigan because, you know, when I beat your candidate, I'm actually beating you. I dare you to come.
I forgive u goat ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
Main themes of Jalen Duren's presser:
-He was very upset about some of the rumors that were out there, and wanted to dispel them
-Mentioned multiple times he's aware of how poorly he played in the playoffs and that he spent all summer working on how to make sure that never happens agan
-The main theme for everyone here: Seemed to be most upset (directly said the media and insiders) towards the talk that he wanted out of Detroit or that he didn't want to be here. Made it a point to talk about how this is all he knows, the city has embraced him, he's embraced this city, and this is where he wants to retire.
One specific moment I thought fans would have loved to hear was when he asked the fanbase to "believe in me" and said how much he believes in Detroit. He was incredibly authentic and didn't sugarcoat anything.
-Mentioned a few times that no one wanted it to last this long, but he understands now that Trajan and the org have a job to do just like his agent does. Talked about how that was something he had to grow and learn, and that him learning and understanding the business side is a silver lining of it taking so long.
-One aspect I should've pushed on is he mentioned very early that Detroit is his home, this is where he lives and stays--that felt like a shot at the reports that he had not been in the city all summer.
Overall, I thought he did a fantastic job of understanding the situation, knowing what he needed to say and address, and did so emphatically and authentically.

Michigan fans trying to explain why they were irrelevant for two decades, suddenly became elite the exact same year the sign-stealing operation started, and then immediately fell off again:
there is no way the balance team at blizzard plays their game and thinks cass is an okay hero to exist in his current state
been getting back into valorant again after playing basically only OW for a year or so, this game’s players are insufferable like no other

Jalen Duren is seeking a $500 million offer from the Pistons, per @SharmsCharania
Shams: “I don’t know if his representative realizes that’s impossible according to the CBA.”
