When I was a broadcaster we fought to restrict satellite radio and "new media" . I asked a leader if this wasn't the future we were fighting and he said "it's not our future". This is happening in education. The antiquated failing system is fighting progress and choice. That's what the "ESA Accountability" initiative is about. Those wanting to restrict school choice for families are dependent on the system and like the control. But education must progress. #education

Along with attracting new businesses to Tucson we must retain what is here. The Gem Show generates $286 million in revenue and $27 million in taxes for Tucson. Some elected officials haven't valued the show, but if it goes away so does the revenue and many restaurants downtown might not survive. Think Tucson!

I respect Sen. Kelly's service and Gabby was a client (El Campo Tires) and friend, but his comments are disingenuous. He knows Iran was planning an attack. Since 1979 when they took American hostages there have been dozens of attacks killing hundreds of Americans by Iran or their proxies. Previous administrations have failed to deal with Iran including Carter's failed rescue mission. Criticizing how is fair, lying and endangering our troops isn't.

Tucson is facing a $76 million deficit. They were dependent on federal dollars instead of business growth. Cuts are short term solutions, growth increases tax revenue and sustainability. In business we learn what we don’t know or we don’t succeed. We are seeing some officials that want to learn.

Mayor Romero said she"s been "thinking deeply" about ICE agents coming to Tucson. So the council voted unanimously to not allow ICE to use city property and instructed TPD to devise a plan. Wouldn't it be better focusing on slowing crime, (created in part by the "free crime" bus), retaining our officers fleeing to other departments and cleaning up fentanyl camps?

It’s discouraging to see a $67 million deficit in Tucson knowing elected officials will cut TPD, fire and parks ehile “preserving” pet projects like “free” public transportation. So I’m raising money for Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Foundation-SALEF so our TPD officers have the life saving equipment they need to protect and serve us. Join me.

We are meeting with elected officials and offering advice and help to make Tucson a more prosperous and safe community. Some believe they are on the right track and blame others for their problems and others are open to change. Zach Yentzer shared with me about Glendale and how they transformed that community. They became business welcoming and compete for companies and are winning. We need to get in the game so we can win.youtube.com/watch?v=iZEM3Sut…

Hazing in fraternities? I was never in a fraternity, but my "rat" year at NMMI offers perspective. We were "rats" and hazing, deprivation, and pain were a part of the process. It made boot camp easy and at the end of the year being "recognized" was the reward. Though mocked and misunderstood these rituals create brotherhood and preparation for battle. If they are lost, so are we.

In 1979 Tucson made a “deal” with the county to supply water while they supplied sewer to the region. In 1992 Buck O’Rielly and 7 businessmen bought the rights to CAP because tucson wouldn’t and donated CAP rights to Tucson. Under City manager Hein Tucson chose to deny water unless you were annexed and now they charge people in unincorporated areas a higher rate. This corruption isn’t covered by our news.#tucson #pimacounty

Prop 418 and 419. It’s true Tucson neglected core services ,(roads, public safety and parks), and wasted money on climate craziness while the city crumbles. Voting no won’t punish the leaders it punishes us. Also Michael Ortega heads the RTA and his acumen when city manager is why Tucson isn’t bankrupt yet Vote yes for your sake.#Tucson

Dr. Carmona is a former Green Beret, Surgeon General and he took down a murderer wielding a gun on Speedway. His article about the lack of leadership and morale at the Sheriff's department is spot on. It may be just ignorance or perhaps Marijuana malaise, but in the Old Pueblo Democrats continue to be elected as public safety declines, poverty increases and parks and roads are neglected. Elections have consequences, I hope voters remember. #TucsonAz

We're meeting with local elected officials to help them attract businesses, (which brings jobs and tax revenue). The reason Tucson continues to languish is because they haven't been a good partner. They make promises, lead businesses down the aisle, then leave them at the alter and wonder why they can't get a "date'". You must first be trustworthy and faithful to attract a partner.

Read through the RTA projects proposed in prop 418 and 419. I've received mostly negative comments about my support. I know that our elected officials have been poor stewards and I don't support the "free" crime bus experiment. But, if these projects aren't done it will be economically devastating. Companies will not relocate here and others will leave, it could affect you and your family.

Our greatest resource is retired people with the time, talent and treasure to make our community better. We did this 12 years ago and we need people now to get back in the game! youtube.com/watch?v=wglvAJaR…

Leftist friends post that Christians are cheering Goods death. Not true. Democrat officials should stop inflammatory rhetoric fueling violent protests and the administration should have ICE focus on violent criminals. Both parties should come together for comprehensive immigration reform that includes "pay a fine get in line" for illegals to become legal.

“EBT welcomed here” at Carls Jr. it doesn’t make sense to give needy people unhealthy food. And it’s wrong that conservatives capitalize on their plight. We should be helping the poor not hurting them.

Since Weiss took over I watch CBS news. It is what news used to be, without the bias on Fox or CNN. But, affiliate KOLD did a "story" about "reports that ICE would be ramping up" in Arizona. The "reporter" then interviewed a Democrat operative that said Trump should focus on helping working families instead of separating them. When it's a story, then it's a story, until then it's propaganda.

We don’t know yet what the outcome will be for Venezuela. Those on the left should ask whether supporting the illegitimate “president “ Maduro is a good thing? Those on the right should remember the “Banana Republic” and not cheer to quickly. My Venezuelan friends are cheering and want to return to their country. Patience is a virtue.
