Carnem Levare. Farewell to the flesh. In the philosophical “Carnevale”, life is pushed to the limit in a quest to find the soul. It becomes a carnival of allegories that bring to the fore life, death, pain and ecstasy in a sea of colour where cheer and solitude move hand in hand without a set destination.
In this exhibition co-curated by @madam_selkie and SuperRare, emerging Brazilian talent - @marcelonada, @fenelonff and @DarknessCrt - will share the stage with established artists - @HugoFaz, @barbaracrvalho, @0xBEISSU, @tchaggo, and @OttisOts. Each artist was asked to offer their own interpretation of the “festival of the flesh” producing an array of mesmerising depictions of the antithetical concepts elicited by it.
