The tradition goes back almost 10 years with Coach Torpey. The staff pulls the first few X’s off, then after each practice players recognize a teammate who stood out and pull their X off. It’s a player driven way of saying “Welcome to the team, you earned it” in the current year. The team doesn’t get their new helmet stickers until all the X’s are off. Awesome yearly tradition Coach Torpey has carried with him throughout his years as a head coach and now at @BrownU_MLAX

What’s the story behind @BrownU_MLAX helmet stickers being crossed out with tape? 🤔

I think Jacob Ruest has some ball left in him. I have no idea how he’s not on an NLL roster. Pick em up!

The term greatest of all time is thrown around a lot. This feels like the only time it is truly not a debate. Congrats V! @Vno48

People forget @Crottykid22 scored a two pointer in the rain at Harvard to take down the Cannons in 2017. Happy MLL week @PremierLacrosse

I miss mixing it up with @jdonville13 and @bigdaws02 every week, but I think I’m liking this new lifestyle. @BackoftheBird

Pulling on the heart strings here. The engine that keeps the car running and the meaning of it all. Family. Several tears to come this weekend and we’re starting early. It’s amazing how lucky you realize you are when you get older. Love you guys

As the Hall of Fame approaches this weekend to honor @dlomas15 HPU Men’s Lacrosse’s first-ever inductee, some of his coaches wanted to pass along a special congratulations 👏 #GoHPU

If I was a PLL GM for a day, my first call as soon as his season is over is Bryan Cole. Doesn’t make sense that he’s not on a roster. Cc: @danarestia

With every hour we get closer to the @PremierLacrosse draft, the more I think the Archers take Silas Richmond first overall.

Very long known in PLL circles but now public. Graeme Hossack will not play field lacrosse this summer. His summer box rights are owned by, you guessed it, the Six Nations Chiefs.

The High Point Panthers have won 10 straight games, the second longest active win streak in College Baseball (behind only #1 UCLA). So far this year, High Point notably took the series over #21 Florida, beat Duke, and beat Wake Forest. 📈

Charging the kid who waves the flag at Leafs home games $1,000 on top of tickets is barbaric. This may be a top down problem after all. Seems like a no brainer to have a Community Impact Minor Hockey player of the day wave it. Could even get that sponsored. @OverDrive1050
