THIS IS COOL: Nas, DJ Premier & Mass Appeal sent out bouquets of flowers to all the women mentioned on their track ‘Bouquet (To The Ladies)’ as a sign of appreciation 💐 “To the Queens of the microphone, the story of this culture can’t be told without your voice in it.” 👏🏼

But that’s the point. The album is a reflection on the roots of hip-hop culture, so they used vintage production and writing. It wouldn’t make sense to use modern beats for a project like this. They understood the assignment.

Wow. It's like Nas & Premo made this specifically for me. This joint is a retarded return to the essence. Did Nas make Premo pull out old beats from the vault, cause you got some golden era Premo all over this. My head fell off like 7 times🤯! Amazing work, off one listen, Jesus

It actually sounds like Nas and Preem was just having a lot of fun to me. You can feel the happiness in Preem sound and Nas voice and flow. That's what I got from it on my second listen. I caught myself smiling the whole time listening to it.
