i think one of the best feelings as a cinephile is watching something you know absolutely nothing about and ending up loving it. no reviews, no expectations, no spoilers. just you and a film that somehow turns out to be exactly what you needed.

Digger is flopping at the box office, going triple platinum on letterboxd, and Tom Cruise it tweeting through it. What a time to be alive.

☀️I finally had a chance to watch "Forgotten Island" and IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!! It's like if the goofy antics of The Hangover merged with Filipino mythology, the film is insane?! And full of heart?! And the animation style changes and evolves?!
