XRP staking on @FlareNetworks – Where will the yields come from?
1️⃣ Once XRP lands on Flare, holders will gain access to a variety of DeFi opportunities. They’ll be able to participate in liquidity pools, money markets, perpetual markets, and earn yields from RWAs available on the network.
2️⃣ In addition to these DeFi opportunities, there are rewards from this staking protocol on Flare, which offers its own set of incentives.
3️⃣ Secured Services Networks (SSNs): These are projects that will leverage the staked XRP to enhance its economic security. In exchange, SSNs will compensate stakers with governance tokens or a share of the fees generated as part of their rewards.

Flare’s institutional partner is building XRP staking on Flare. When you stake your XRP on Flare, you will be securing networks and services across multiple ecosystems. In return you will be earning tokens from the services you stake to.
Staking is very low risk as validators rarely mess up. This will be a pretty great way both earn yield on your XRP and diversify your holdings across ecosystems.

🚨JUST IN: @Ripple has agreed to drop its appeal against the @SECGov and pay $50M of the originally ordered $125M fine. The SEC will also ask Judge Torres to lift the ‘obey the law’ injunction she imposed on Ripple in addition to the fine.
Once all of this has been voted on by the Commission, and the court documents are in order, the @SECGov vs. @Ripple case will be over once and for all.
The final crossing of t’s and dotting of i’s – and what should be my last update on SEC v Ripple ever…
Last week, the SEC agreed to drop its appeal without conditions. @Ripple has now agreed to drop its cross-appeal. The SEC will keep $50M of the $125M fine (already in an interest-bearing escrow in cash), with the balance returned to Ripple. The agency will also ask the Court to lift the standard injunction that was imposed earlier at the SEC’s request. All subject to Commission vote, drafting of final documents and usual court processes.

I’ve said this before - the crypto industry will achieve our goals (and beyond), IF WE WORK TOGETHER. Appreciate the crypto President @realDonaldTrump’s vision of a govt digital asset reserve representative of the industry.
Maximalism is the enemy of the industry’s progress. Glad to see POTUS recognizing we live in a multichain world and that we’re finally moving past Bill Hinman and the Biden administration's SEC’s very broken thinking.
I will certainly continue to champion this while in Washington at the end of this week.
